Allow about 3 hours to connect domestic / intl in BOM as the terminals are rather far apart.
Just dont take the last flight of the day out - take the one before that (a 6 pm flight rather than an 8 pm one).
Not likely to have fog or weather issues GOI-BOM .. or you could just take the train or a bus and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way (and cashew feni as well, which you cant take on board the plane)
Kingfisher and Jet - they're both very nice, far better than DL or anything else you'll ever see on US domestic. As for Indian - that's quite comparable to DL or NW domestic - with the addition that the planes are newer and you get a hot meal on a flight that's less than an hour.

A friend said I should fly into BOM a day early to guarantee I make my connection. Does Goa have fog or weather cancellations? I'd rather stay in Goa than BOM. Is this something I have to worry about? Should I be concerned if I don't make my connection Delta will make me wait until the next award seat becomes available - that could be for months knowing DL award availability. Any better choice between Kingfisher and Jet or Indian air?
