Going to have to make a connection in BOM to a Delta award ticket flight back to USA. Flying in from Goa and there are limited nonstop flights. All seem to go in the afternoon whether Kingfisher or Jet and that would give plenty of time as the Delta flight leaves after midnight. A friend said I should fly into BOM a day early to guarantee I make my connection. Does Goa have fog or weather cancellations? I'd rather stay in Goa than BOM. Is this something I have to worry about? Should I be concerned if I don't make my connection Delta will make me wait until the next award seat becomes available - that could be for months knowing DL award availability. Any better choice between Kingfisher and Jet or Indian air?
