My brother booked Caesars Brookdale in mid-Dec for a July 4th 5 day trip. Now he gets a call that they got bought out this week and they are leaving Starwood. So he has no vacation plans. Is he entitled to anything since he expected in good faith a reservation? Seems to me they could of stayed opened till July 15th or even later. This is just bs so they can start demolition early.

Caesars representative Doug Wilkins said Caesars Brookdale in Scotrun – the family resort of the four local Caesars properties – has been sold to Texas-based Silverleaf Resorts Inc., a hotel group specializing in time share properties.
Silverleaf will take ownership of the property July 15. However, Brookdale will close on April 28, according to Wilkins, to allow for current employees to find work elsewhere.
Since they gave you over 4 months notice why doesn't your brother just book something somewhere else? And imo, no he's not "entitled" to anything since the business is going out of business. Just out of curiosity, do you have first hand information that they are starting demolition early?
