I had booked a ticket this morning to go ATL-YYZ(overnight)-FRA(stopover)-LYS-FRA-YYZ-ATL on points since my preferred ticket travel to FRA was turning up 2500 vs $1000-1100 on US and CO ATL-xxx-FRA. Thus I used points for a Biz award.

The start of the travel was same day and I was checking out my hotel and was about to check in for my flight and realized that I cannot and it indicated my flight was cancelled. I called and apparently my miles was deducted by ticket was not ticketed. When 2 flights were cancelled, they did not protect me and by the time I found out and called, all flights Sat ATL-YYZ are booked. I was never called since I was not ticketd.

Check a couple of options and they want to send me ATL-PHL-YYZ-FRA... or ATL-ORD-FRA which are all pretty risky after a snowstorm. I ended up after searching options giving up my Biz award and book paid coach on CO.
