The OP was quite clearly not trying to brag about their financial means, and so, in my opinion, your criticism was not appropriate to the story or the situation.
What criticism? I was simply pointing out a few facts. While extreme physical comfort and kind, friendly service do nothing to lessen grief for a lost loved one, the lack of such comfort and service in Y or even C these days can certainly make things SEEM worse for an emotionally distressed individual. Therefore, those who are as financially capable as the OP do, in a sense, have it easier even in circumstances surrounding death, which is supposed to be the great leveler. BlissWorld has expressed that she realizes this, and is grateful. That makes a big difference, and in my book she deserves whatever good comes to her, no matter how unfair it seems on the surface. If the OP feels criticized, then I am sorry. I wish her only the best in her prosperity, just as strongly as I wish that I will, one day, attain a similar level of comfort in my life. Maybe then things will be a little easier for my family when such tragedies occur.
