You are correct, lin821, as Koko stated, the goal of the motion was (step one) to get Randy to reconsider his abrupt decision and back up to the previous status quo; so, if it passed, we could move on to (step two) coming up with a well-thought-out recommendation for dealing with the gamesters, which Randy could then accept or reject.

You go on to say:

Beyond that, I did my level best to read every post and try to understand each and every FlyerTalker's point of view before casting my vote based ultimately upon my very best judgment.
