I flew from ORD to SLC on AA 1815. Coach ticket, upgraded via EXP (with a PLT companion on stickers). About 35 minutes in to the flight, the reading lights start flickering and then all the lights go off. Apparently, there was a left power generator failure. The pilot decided to turn the plane around to Chicago to either get it fixed or get a new plane. We got a new plane, boarded by 9:30, didn't take off till 10:30.

I checked my account today and I saw a 3,000 miles Customer Service Bonus.

Was anyone else on this flight? Did anyone else get the CS Bonus?
