OAK-LAX-NRT min connect time at LAX?

I am booked the following flights:
UA 6921
Departs: 10:47 AM OAK
Arrives: 12:05 PM LAX
UA 897
Departs: 12:50 PM LAX
Arrives: 3:55 PM NRT

Only 45 min to connect; is it enough time at LAX? It was booked by phone with UA.
