My guess is that VIP treatment at the airport will consist of access to the VIP room of the Crystal Lounge in PRG and maybe as you suggest a bottle of "Bohemka." The Fast Track passport control service is already available to all Elites, so I doubt they'd take you through the back door...

On another note, Silver card holders who did not fly enough to get Silver status for 2008 were offered an extension of the Silver status for 50,000 miles. That's a pretty steep price, so it's a smart move by CSA given that for an infrequent traveller, the cost to the airline of Silver benefits for a year are probably lower than the cost of a transatlantic bonus ticket. However, its a nice option to have if you or someone you know really, really need a silver card.
