I've planning this trip:

SEA -> AMS (4/18/2008)
AMS -> DEL (4/21/2008)
DEL -> BLR (4/24/2008)
BLR -> SIN (5/1/2008)
SIN -> SEA (5/4/2008)

So far I've found the best fair on sidestep.com, for around $2500 ($2700 if I want to eliminate a couple of layovers). Looks like I may be able to knock off $75 or so by booking DEL->BLR separately. Every date is flexible within a day or two on each side, but the stops in each city need to be the same length of time I have above.

I don't think that this an unreasonable price to pay, but I'd LOVE to know how the gurus here would ferret out the best fares, and whether you would book via the agent sidestep comes up with (iirc cheaptickets) or whether you'd call up a person. I'm willing to put in my homework. Help
