Can’t say I disagree with anything you said. I made Plat at Marriot primarily through work stays in 2006 (will be dropping to Gold on Saturday). Marriott is OK for work due to all you say. But when it comes to leisure travel… I just hate the sameness of the Marriott rooms. It is a deal breaker for me.
