However, I don't think it's "worth every dollar". It's barely a "Luxury Hotel". The Gulf Bay Group is the owner/developer of this hotel.

It's a group of very wealthy investors ... well organized, very strict management, strict guidelines, no exceptions ... that might explain some complaints in TripAdvisor

The beach is nice! Marco Island is OK, but not great!
Bottom line: It's OK, it's expensive. I recommend the Ritz Carlton in Naples, both the Beach and the Golf!
I have to agree and I've stayed there. It's not anything at all like a Ritz Carlton, nice but I don't think I'd call it a luxury hotel.
I love the Ritz here in Naples, especially the beach. I live right between the two and stay at the beach Ritz often. Our last visit was the weekend of February 2 and had another fabulous stay.
