Did you not receive your meal choice or are you assuming that they weren't done by status?? We have a printed manifest that identifies "who's who". It's more conspicuous to be jumping from aisle to aisle working from S.E down. I therefore start on the one side with the most status passengers, and keep a close eye and running tab on the choice. If a meal choice is becoming scarce, I will ensure that Aeroplan top tier customers orders are taken ahead of the others.
Also, re post #9. Often there are things happening behind the scenes that are not obvious to the customer. I have yet to work with any crew where every effort is not made to ensure top tier customer meal choice. That would also involve on occasion giving up crew meal casseroles.
