With an upcoming long trip I'm looking at investing in a Management Consultant Clone Type rollaboard (Swanhunter TM) to save me taking a third piece of checked luggage.

On the Travel Products forum someone mentioned issues with people taking the 22" Tumi products through security at LHR. With more LHR based travel starting in July/August and several trips through between now and then I'd be hoping to use the 22" on a fairly regular basis out of LHR and would be disappointed if I couldn't. If necessary I'd downgrade to the 20" but would rather stick with the 22" if I can. Is it just people are trying to pass through security with it in the expanded form?

Any data points would be greatly appreciated.
