You can get cash or points back for Orbitz purchases. Note that Orbitz usually charges a $5.00 fee for booking airline tickets, meaning it is unlikely the prices would be exactly the same (though it is certainly possible to find lower fares on Orbitz on occasion, but it would be unusual to find one exactly $5.00 less, exactly offsetting the booking fee).

I actually like to use Priceline these days because they charge no booking fees and I get 500 MyPoints for each airline ticket booked, which is equal to 500 HHonors points or 250 United miles.
