As for your problem, you really do have my full sympathies. It is madness: 1x500ml bottle = bomb. 5x100ml bottles = safe?
My only thoughts are:
- I assume it isn't available to buy airside?
(I have no experience of contact lenses so don't know if 120ml takes a month or a year to use?)
- Have you tried contacting the manufacturer about availability in smaller bottles? Or availability specifically for the travel retail market?
- Have you tried getting hold of any medical-grade/quality sterile bottles that are sub100ml and decanting into them? (Were your sample bottles previously used for something else, etc?)
