The rule in the European Union is that liquids etc bought in the secure area of an airport may be taken through security, both at that airport and at other EU airports, if they have been sealed in a specially-approved tamper-proof bag.

If the chemist is airside, and they have the facility to seal goods in tamper-proof bags (not all airside shops do) then there is no problem.
