The fact that the price in points for an award ticket will be based on the revenue price for the itinerary is a bit disappointing. While they may say there are no blackout dates or capacity controls, it's really not that different from "standard" awards on most other airlines (not Delta, of course).

Yes, eleVAte Points will expire 18 months after the month that you earn them. But we plan to give you so many cool ways to use them that you won’t want to let your Points sit around for 18 months.

Similar to TrueBlue, and IMHO, unfortunate. I was hoping it would be like the legacies where points expire XX months after inactivity.
