Why not ask at the AC? Chances are the AAngels could tell you the classification of people ahead of you on the list, especially because it's VERY surprising that anybody could be ahead of an EXP who checked in 23 hours in advance.

Nevertheless, here are some possibilities that come to mind:
1) positive-space employee and his/her family (i.e. senior exec or other who could bump a revenue passenger)
2) EXP family connecting from an international flight with travel disruptions (and also potentially an earlier check-in time)
3) Full-fare F/J passengers willing to take a downgrade in order to get on the flight
