I certainly believe that everybody should be able to express their opinions and experiences, as this is an open forum. But I think it should be done so with respect and perspective. For those who are asking the OP to "put things in perspective," let me offer a slightly different situation. If someone were to ask "where is a good place to take my family for a nice expensive dinner to celebrate," I would not go on a rant about how they should just stay at home and eat rice and beans because there are others in the world who are starving and risk their lives to procure food for their families. I think it's unfair to jump to conclusions and assume things about a member of the community just based on a simple, valid question. Any way...just my two cents.
I would agree, if this thread was about the OP wanting to fly in first class and people were ranting about the same thing. But it's not. A similar thread would be found in dining buzz saying something like, "Fear of Cooking my own Food" for someone who has their own cook. People would be justified reminding the person it's really not that bad.

However, as the thread stands, your situtation just isn't valid. No offense.
