Why book this 777 flight in the first place if you can go on NGCW 747s to JFK instead ? (Unless of course you are travelling down the back where it really doesn't matter).

Your assumption makes sense that BA would pull this 777 from the JFK route? Presumably they can compensate the loss of capacity on this route as there are so many other flights per day?
