I've got the previous generation Eagle Creek Tarmac 22 (the one with the straps/clips on each side) and I love it. Very robust.

I've got about 500K miles on the thing going all over Asia and its still like new. I go with a couple of the Eagle Creek Pack-It cubes/folders and works great.

I particularly like how when it opens up, its not too deep. The top half still has plenty of places to put stuff -- its not just like a lid for a big bucket. Make sense?

I highly recommend it.
