Maximizing EB points and minimizing SAS ticket prices
I've noticed a lot of very good advice from fellow flyertalkers in a lot of different threads. I was thinking it might be a good idea to try and have one thread so newbies and experienced alike can make use of this excellent advice. I can think of a few categories so far.
Stop in stead of non-stop
When flying to xxx a stop in xxx gives 2 * points.
An obvious example - when flying OSL-HEL, OSL-ARN-HEL gives 2 times points.
Another example - when flying TATL or BKK from CPH fly via ARN and earn more points. Some times it also will be cheaper because of the popularity of CPH direct flights. Flying to Beijing gets more points flying over CPH than ARN.
Saving on price
A long haul flight will be cheaper from xxx then yyy when flying to zzz.
Danes living in the southern area of Denmark can save on V class tickets HAM-CPH-EWR compared with CPH-EWR.
Bargain point opportunities on other *A flights
LX xmas offers in C class
