I will be arriving into LGW late evening and am concerned that if there is a delay the GEX might have shut down, so I idly checked the BA transfer add-on option in MMB.

I was quite pleasantly surprised to find that they offer an Executive car (E Class, A6 or Sharan) for a family of 3 from LGW to NW London, at any time of the day or night, at £74, including 90 mins of waiting time from 30 mins after touch down.

That seems to me quite a good deal but I know nothing about their chosen operator: Burgundy Cars. However, a quote on the Burgundy website offered the same transfer at an astronomic £251 exc. any waiting time.

Has anybody booked airport transfers through BA ?

Does anyone know Burgundy ?

Can anyone suggest a competitive alternative for a comparable level of car ?
