You should be able to find deals if you are prepared to bargain and shop around. I saved a couple of hundred HKD on my (totally legitimate, backed by international warranty) Seiko by bargaining and agreeing to pay in cash. Obviously, for that kind of thing you're going to have more success with the smaller shops as opposed to the big chains.
