Is this because the booking was made over the phone? It was open jaw and mixed class.
I've got an open-jaw and mixed class 241 booking, which has the change and cancel buttons in a working state. Whether any of these would actually work is another question.

Just tried to change the outbound to another time on the same day, and the system came back with a message that all other flights that day have no availability. Suggesting this could work (of course the system can still fail when you actually try to commit the change/cancel).
