You'd clear customs at West End (Sopers Hole). Be advised, though, they drive on the left and the mountain roads along the coast are scary! An alternative would be to hire a taxi, negotiate a rate.

Spend another day at the Baths (big house sized boulders & grottos - You'll see it written up). I bet there will be all kinds of side trips available through the Westin. They probably ignore customes, lol, for a fee.

Here's some sites to check out:

Lots to do. I would avoid Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas) shopping, unless you have never exeprienced that before.

As for medical services, I would say it's basic at best. Although they do have some great cosmetic surgeons there. You would go to Puerto Rico - about 100 miles away, for world class facilities.

I think we'll try and get away in March for 4 nights... looked at Grand Caymans but from NYC, it's a 7hr flight b/c of the connections. JetBlue flies nonstop to Aruba, St Maarten, Bermuda, PR, and DR; American to St Lucia, St Maarten; I'd like to keep hotel below $360/nt, and airfares below $500 pp. Any good ideas?
