I've managed to get 500 milers transferred to friends not travelling with me. We all went to a CTO and the poor agents spent quite a while trying to do it, calling around and whatever (I gave a HK-49 to one, and 5 or 6 (I forget) 500 milers to another). In the end, it all worked out fine, and my e-upgrade summary (when that worked ) showed their flights and the certs pulled correctly, so I knew it worked, even though I was in another country at the time.

Do I get an honourary Ph.D. now? Actually I think those agents in a Seattle area CTO (now closed, I think ) deserve that. They were great.
