Actually, these flights are already factored into the new limited # of flights per hour at JFK (down to 82 from over 100 last summer). DL has reworked their JFK schedule quite a bit by spreading flights out over a longer period...for example, the ATH and DKR/CPT flights will leave before 4pm and others have been moved to later hours (e.g., MAN, AGP, EDI, GRU, ORY have all been moved to the post-10pm departure slots). The new JFK-GEO is even going to leave at midnight (12:30am)....
