My wife and I just completed 4 LAN flights (RT JFK - SCL and SCL - IPC (Easter Island)) with the new flat-bed business class seats, and we found the business class seats to be more comfortable than BA's. In addition, we thought the overall service (IFE, wines, duvets, and pillows) surpassed BA's Club offerings. The only downside --- make sure that you sit on the left-hand side of the 763s, as both restrooms are located on the left-hand side of the plane, and the crossover area in the galley is often blocked.

btw, BA's Executive Club is issuing LAN business class tickets from the US to Easter Island, with a free stopover in Chile, for 80,000 BA miles. During high season (i.e. now), we thought that a very good rate.....
