You have two options.
1. Ticket them as an adult on aa.com, then just call reservations and ask for them to note in the record that it is a UMN.
2. Put the reservation on hold via aa.com, then call AA Web Services to ticket it. You won't be charged the telephone agent fee.
I've done this numerous times and never paid a booking fee. With the first option, just make sure you know AA's rules and ensure that your booking abides by them (e.g. don't take the last connecting flight of the day).
