What a great trip report along with the photo's. A refreshing change to the reports of first class lounges and meals. It brought back memories of my three day trip from Sydney to Perth on the Indian Pacific quite a few years ago. I enjoyed it that much that on arriving in Perth I cashed in my return to Sydney airline ticket and returned on the IP.
