I have received multiple reports indicating that the new LH MasterCard is virtually useless at many POS in several countries (yes, Brazil is one of them). This is due to its specific design, not because those POS wouldn't accept MasterCards per se.
Basically, the new LH MC is only suitable for people who don't travel internationally.
It's another typical LH enhancement.
