I just want to understand how threads like this which are found all over FT are different from the majority of OMNI posts? I think (just like last time this arguement was discussed) that the majority of people thing the OMNI games are post padding but again (as argued before) this is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater if you remove all post counts from OMNI.

The simplest solution is to delete and ban all game threads from OMNI which would clean up the post count issue (IMHO).
Theoretically, all game threads includes the AM thread you have been an active participant in - still want to ban all game threads?

I think if you want post count back because it's important to you, you've got to accept that the games are important to other members who enjoy playing them - not everyone is in it for the post count. You want them to sacrifice what is important to them so that you can get post count back. I'm not convinced that's entirely fair, particularly since there are ways the games can be managed to reduce their impact on OMNI and FT.
