my main concern about OMNI for some time now are the now countless 'counting' counters ... (up, down, etc. etc. etc) without contributing anything for the community (except perhaps some knowledge about posters that can't resist to post there again and again ...). For me such threads now dominate to much of OMNI front pages and hide the (for me) interesting topics.

I still believe that the introduction (as mentioned as a possibility by Randy earlier in another thread) might solve that problem for me:

One of the plug-ins allows members to "Ignore Thread." This means that if any of the game threads just aren't your thing, you can select them and they will not appear to you when you visit OMNI.

I am all for this!

I don't care if OMNI posts count or not, whatever TB and/or Randy think/decide regarding the counting question is ok with me. I mind if the counting/'game' threads dominate OMNI frontpages for me - if I could eleminate their Vista - that would be fine.
