A few additional things...

The Seat:

In F the seat converts to a 180-degree horizontal flat bed, and with an attentive crew you can have it 'converted' or 'turned-down' while you nip off to the loo to change into your PJs (tho many pax do that soon after they board). There is a nice padding as a mattress, and a nice duvet, vs only a blanket in CW.

For two people travelling together, there are 2 pairs of forward-facing seats in F on 747s in the middle of the cabin. The center screen between the seats can be lowered to make a nice pair of seats. Whereas in CW passengers in adjacent seats face different directions. If both of you want a window seat, you have the option of dining together with one person using the 'buddy seat' and share the same table (over the whole meal, or part of it).

Food:

If it happens that you don't like the F menu, pax have been known to ask for selections from CW (if available, of course), whereas the converse would not be possible.

Privacy:

The F cabin on 747s (14 seats) has the most private feel. Many FTers prefer that to F on 777s because of the latter's 'dorm-like' feel, due to the width of the fuselage I think. CW on the upper deck on 747s are many ppl's preference because of the more exclusive and private feeling (20 seats) compared to the lower deck or on 777s.

Crew Attentiveness:

You may be escorted to your seat in F by one of the crew upon boarding. Also, you may well be greeted personally by the CSD when travelling in F, who might spend a few minutes chatting wtih you. You may also be addressed by name throughout the flight. (I say 'may' and 'might' because many FTers have quite different experiences in this aspect of on-board service.)

In CW you might be addressed by name; again, many FTers have experienced inconsistency in this regard.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
