For beer, try the Rheinfelder Bierhalle - a short walk or tram from the station. It's not quite a Munich beer hall, but the beer's good and the sausages are filling!

If museums are your thing, the Landesmuseum is right next to the station - lots of Swiss/ Zurich history.

Walk down the Niederdorf - a busy pedestrian street with shops/ cafes etc. Runs from near the station along the river. You should come to the beer hall eventually if you follow your nose.

Jump on a riverboat (included in the CHF 12 ticket I mentioned) to get a view from the water. There's a landing stage next to the station/ Landesmuseum.

Definitely more inspiring that sitting in a coffee bar at the airport!
