After wasting $7.99 on a lousy passport photo at Walgreens, I went home and hit Google in search of a better option.

I came across epassportphoto.com, and wanted to let other FTers know about it. You upload a digital picture, then it allows you to crop it so it meets the photo requirements for US passports (or any of the passport authorities for about 60 other countries). It then formats the picture so you can download it and print at your leisure. (For a US passport picture, you get 6 2"x2" pictures on a 4"x6" print.)

I did it for a handful of pictures, then took them to Walgreens to print for 19 cents each, before pick the best one for my new passport. After all, you have to live with the picture for 10 years...why shouldn't you have one that looks good?!
