drama? but, FT would not be very entertaining if there wasn't a good dose of drama.

Of course, renting a car requires one be sober enough (or at least sober as required by the state of Nevada) to drive the vehicle back to the airport. IMO, a night (or a few hours) wandering around Vegas casinos would not be as much fun without a few [or, preferably many] adult beverages.
