5.30 is plenty of time then if you're not checking bags in based on my experience of catching that flight ... there's not a lot to do in T2 airside - the Lufthansa lounge isn't worth an extra 20mins in bed.
There can be some lines at security, but they're not that bad (especially at this time of year) and they do call you to the front as your flight gets to boarding time if necessary.
The first Heathrow Express leaves T4 at 5.07 ... I'd get that if I were in your shoes.
