The Official Payments website (www.officialpayments.com) has a "special offers" section. If one goes there and looks under "Visa," they will see mention of double miles for payments of state and property taxes (no mention of federal taxes). There is nothing more to confirm that there is in fact such a promo currently, and I don't see anything on the Chase website about it, which makes it seem dubious.
