Kinda sort. I seem to remember that the outlet puts out 75w. So a Dell D600 with a PA-12 power supply would do just fine (60w), yet a Dell D800 with a PA-10 power supply would have issues (90w)... unless you removed the battery of the D800. (ok, there is one more caveat... a D800 with a PA-12 will work, yet the D800 will go into reduced screen resolution, and reduce all current to everything, taking away all the good stuff of a D800, including the UWXGA 1920x1080 screen down to 1280x1024).

You've got 75w to work with... it'll work, or it won't. When we have laptops that take more then 75w without the battery, there's going to be a lot of unhappy campers. Lets hear it for the Dell D420!
