Good Morning,
As Geneva is right on the Swiss/French border, how stringent are the border crossing formalities?

A better question might be, if I was going to visit Geneva but stay in a hotel on the French side, how much of a pain in the butt will it be to cross back and forth to visit the city / go to the hotel?

Is this going to be a non-issue when Switzerland becomes part of the Schengen zone?
