Many museums asked to display the window _ over 300 feet long and 23 feet high _ said it was too large. And the airline said that removing it in one piece, moving it and storing it would cost many millions.
I'm no master of demolition but with 900 panels, the pieces are already somewhat broken up. Short of any liability concerns, why not arrange to have people that are interested pick up some of the 900 panes of it? Is each panel one color only? Or are they fairly equal size swaths?
Otherwise it won't be long before they wind up on ebay by the demolition company.
