Anytime I fly on days other than Tuesdays or Wednesdays, I expect a full flight to just about anywhere. But I've recently been on several WN flights at busy times to busy places (like LAS on a Friday night) where the loads have been light -- like half full. I've also noticed that the fares for these flights have been pretty high -- high enough that they would have discouraged me from booking the flight for personal travel (I just use award tickets when the fares are high).

I'm inclined to believe my experiences are anecdotal, but has anyone else noticed lighter-than-expected loads on WN? It is possible that higher fares are reducing load factors. I guess we'll know more when they release the February load factor number.
