So, just to confirm: There is indeed in-seat power for Y pax on A330--at least in the first few rows of the aircraft? I need to get some work done on my computer, and my battery won't last the entire hop over the Pond. Btw, is it EM-power or regular AC power (i.e., US outlet)?

As for the MD-11 experience, anyone know whether there's in-seat power for Y pax? Has the IAD-AMS aircraft been updated with AVOD?
