The menu thingy is implemented in Flash - maybe you don't have the proper player plugin installed or for some other reasons (i.e. the Chinese government issue hinted at earlier) it cannot be shown.

Anyway the link posted earlier works fine, or as an alternative you could click on the "Submit" button for the Duna club login on the bottom centre of the page without entering any ID and PIN, this will take you to a page where you have a link to the "Join in" page.

As MA is now a full member of OneWorld any OW program (including your AA membership) will also accrue status miles on their flights.
