You would think so, however the small print of the BA "Price Promise" refers to exactly the same conditions, i.e. exactly the same booking code. aa.com will simply sell you a cheaper booking code/fare, so BA doesn't have to full fill it's fairly empty "Price Promise" At least that's what I make of the T&Cs.
