Stayed Saturday night. Hotel being completely renovated. Just started. Doing 12 rooms at a time... Half of one building. Sunday took a walk to first rooms being renovated. They were working on Sunday. Stuck my head in the open door of one room... could see new kitchen, new furniture, carpet. Surprised at dark colors. Cabinets in kitchen dark, carpet red and black. didin't want to intrude so only looked from door. first rooms to be ready by this weekend.
Since Hyatt bought Summerfield Suites have stayed here several times, instead of Hyatt at SFO. Better price, free parking, breakfast and also the extra GP points. Not to mention, every room is a suite.
Looking forward to a renovated room on my next stay.
