You need to know exactly what you want and compare that price. And ask for the warranty. Many times in HK things are sold cheaper whithout warranty. But they wouldn't tell you if you don't ask.
Things that are very common are likely to be cheaper, whereas uncommon, specialized items sometimes even come at double the price in HK, if available at all.
